Local Connections – Devlins Creek Project

Hills M2 has partnered with Hornsby Shire Council, to deliver improvements at Devlins Creek in the Beecroft and Chilworth Reserves.

The four year project, which began in 2008 funds local volunteer bush care activities including bushland regeneration, native tree plantings and noxious weed removal.

In May 2009, a project milestone was achieved with the opening of Link Track - a new section of walking track between the Beecroft Scout Hall and Kirkham Road. This included the installation of improved directional and interpretive signage.

A team of Transurban employees have so far volunteered 100 hours to the project and are working hard to regenerate a degraded area of bushland on the eastern side of Cheltenham Oval.
